Samarika Dhiman is a filmmaker, studying at Humber College with experience in lighting, sound, cinematography, digital design, screenwriting and directing.  Her experience in editing helps her hone in on her organizational skills.

 

Samarika has been passionate about films, ever since she was a child. She considers filmmaking her dream career, as it is something she has imagined for herself since she was a kid. She loves the creativity of filmmaking as it allows her to bring her ideas to the screen.

 

Samarika’s determination and perseverance help excel her in her career. She is a hard worker, who is not willing to cut corners to accomplish the ideal shot. This was clear during her short film Mary, where she worked through a snowstorm to complete the film she imagined. She is a quick learner and problem solver, working to make the best quality film, while working efficiently.
